Walter is an honorable, knowledgeable and pleasant person to do business with. I’m a structural engineer and I can say the house is very solid, the quality is good and its super energy efficient. We were downsizing from a large house in South Berwick that we had lived in for 30 years. From the initial contact with Walter he was responsive to our needs and gave us his full attention. The foundation had already been poured on the lot when we discovered it. We wanted a different house layout than had been planned and he was very accommodating and helped us in the design and gave us accurate cost estimates for the quality of construction we desired. Contract negotiations were both fair and timely. Walter’s team of subcontractors and suppliers were also great to work with. They have worked with him for a long time which says a lot about quality and reputation. We made some changes along the way as we saw things shaping up. We kept Walter in the loop as we had new ideas and he advised us appropriately on them and accommodated our changes at a fair price. We encourage anyone considering a new house to use Graystone.
